Timing is everything when it comes to booking your maternity photography experience. My studio, conveniently located 10 minutes from Uptown Charlotte, is typically booked 2-3 months ahead. I encourage expecting Mothers to book in their second trimester so that their session can be held between 28-34 weeks. No worries, your belly will be nice and round, and you’ll still be comfortable enough for posing.
The Process
1. PRE-BOOKING CONSULTATION: Before selecting the date for your Maternity Photoshoot, I love scheduling a pre-booking phone call. During this free consultation, we’ll go over ideas and maternity outfit options, and I can answer any questions from you or your partner.
2. BOOKING & DETAILS: After your initial consultation, you will be sent a secure link for exclusive dates and times for your Maternity session. While most Moms prefer our Charlotte Studio, outdoor Maternity portrait sessions are available. Once we’ve finalized the details, you will be given a Maternity Outfit Information Form to share your inspiration, outfit, comfort, and more.
3. SHOOT AND REVEAL DAY: On the day of your session, get ready for a fun, comfortable experience including your choice of music and amenities to make your session enjoyable. I'll guide you and your partner through poses that flatter your body and leave you feeling beautiful. Within 72 hours after your session, you’ll receive a private link to your images and decide which you’d love to keep and discuss options for creating elegant art pieces to showcase. All selected images will be professionally retouched to perfection.
