If you’re dreaming of a lush greenery, peaceful water, and a relaxed outdoor feel, Freedom Park is one of the first parks for maternity photos in Charlotte that popped up in Google. Freedom Park is HUGE! With nearly 100 acres of space, walking trails, and a scenic lake at it’s beautiful center, it gives you a little bit of everything.

- Variety of backdrops in one location
- Easy access and very popular
Cons: To be honest, most photographers hate Freedom Park. The parking is horrendous, the colors clash and when its busy, it’s impossible to get the right shot.
- Can get crowded, especially on weekends
- Lighting can be tricky mid-day
