Capturing Clayon and Miracle’s wedding anniversary photoshoot in Uptown Charlotte was nothing short of magical! Fun fact: I met Clayon and Miracle in 2008, while attending college at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Due to witnessing their love since 2008, it was truly an honor to capture their ten year anniversary and witnessing the growth of their family and love.

While most men are shy during their engagement photoshoots, Husbands are typically excited about anniversaries and celebratory photography sessions. Anniversary photos are the best way to document the journey of your love story and to celebrate another milestone in your relationship. Often I ask my couples when is the last time they’ve updated the art work in their homes, and for some, it was their wedding day.

In catching up with Miracle and Clayon, I had the opportunity to check in on their family, friends, their amazing boys and talk insights about maintaining a healthy marriage. Knowing this couple for years, we had tons of laughs and no awkward moments at all. Miracle and Clayon wanted an anniversary session that showcased their love for being in the city of Charlotte, but also, obviously, their love for each other. I am proud to say, we accomplished both. The weather couldn’t have been better and the beautiful grounds in Uptown Charlotte provided a stunning backdrop for me to tell their story.
